Bratislav Glisic

From award-winning cocktail bars to producing his own spirits, Bratislav Glisic has built a career rooted in craft and precision. He is the co-owner of a West Village cocktail bar and the co-founder of Principal Bartender, mixologist and hospitality consultant with more than 20 years of industry experience. He earned a degree in Hospitality Management in Belgrade and refined his craft traveling the world aboard Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth II. In New York City he served as Principal Bartender at the acclaimed Employees Only cocktail bar for fifteen years, where his innovative cocktails contributed to the team’s “World’s Best Cocktail Bar” honors and multiple industry awards. Glisic co-founded The Strangers Club in Panama City and used that international experience to launch Bitter Companion, his own line of artisanal, small-batch cocktail bitters. In 2025 he opened Dear Strangers, a Latin-inspired cocktail lounge in Manhattan’s West Village. In addition to his bar ventures, he runs Principal Bartender, a boutique spirits company producing craft vodka, gin, and rye whiskey. Together, these ventures underscore Glisic’s innovative, detail-driven approach to the craft of mixology.
